Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-08-12
Meridian is operated by Work In Progress Creations LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy
explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Information you give us directly
If you contact us through this site we receive your name, email address, any
organisation you name, and the content of your message. We use it to reply to you
and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for
third-party marketing.
Information in the product
When your office uses Meridian, the service stores the financial records you put
into it — statements, positions, valuations, account details — along with the user
accounts of people you invite. That data belongs to your office. We process it to
provide the service and for no other purpose. We do not use client financial data to
train models or to build products for anyone else.
Cookies
We set one cookie, and only when you sign in: a session cookie that keeps you
signed in. It is HTTP-only, same-site, and marked secure in production. We do not
run advertising or third-party analytics trackers on this site.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run the service — hosting infrastructure,
transactional email delivery, and SMS delivery for two-factor codes. They handle
data only as needed to perform those functions. We'll name them in full on request.
Retention and deletion
We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to handle the conversation and our
own records. Client data is retained for the life of the engagement; on termination
we will return or delete it at your instruction. Audit records may be retained where
we have a legal reason to keep them.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
Where your office is the controller of client data, we act on that office's
instructions. Write to us via the form above and we will respond.
Security
We apply the controls described in the Security section of this page. No system is
perfect; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will tell you promptly
and tell you what we know.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and, for active
clients, tell you directly.
Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-08-12
These terms govern use of the Meridian service and this website, both provided by
Work In Progress Creations LLC. By using either, you agree to them.
The service
Meridian is reporting software. It consolidates and presents financial information
that you and your custodians supply. It does not hold assets, execute transactions,
or act as a custodian, broker or bank.
Not financial, tax or legal advice
Nothing produced by the service is advice. Reports are a presentation of data you
provide. You are responsible for reviewing and approving figures before relying on
them or sending them to anyone — the product is deliberately built to require that
approval.
Accounts and access
Accounts are created by invitation. You are responsible for who you invite, for the
roles you assign, for removing access when someone leaves, and for keeping
credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been
compromised.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access data belonging to another office or another user.
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written agreement.
- Do not upload malware, or content you have no right to upload.
- Do not resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.
Your data
You keep all rights in the data you put into the service. You grant us only the
permission needed to host and process it in order to provide the service. On
termination we will return or delete your data at your instruction.
Fees
Fees, billing period and notice are set out in the order or agreement we sign with
your office. Where those conflict with these terms, that agreement governs.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and will give reasonable notice of planned
maintenance. Unless your agreement includes a specific service level, the service is
provided without an uptime guarantee.
Warranties and liability
Except as expressly stated in a signed agreement, the service is provided “as is”
without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Work In
Progress Creations LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss,
and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve
months before the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate as set out in the signed agreement. We may suspend access
immediately if use of the service threatens its security or that of other clients.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we will update the date above and give active clients
notice of material changes. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form on this page.
